“Failing to prepare is preparing to fail” is something that is continuously told throughout life in education. Preparation Is the most important aspect of being successful within the fashion industry. It’s always good to be prepared ahead of time to meet the university admission requirements for any Fashion Degrees, that’s why applying for any extra courses is a great way to get ahead of the competition. Here are our top 3 options to help and inspire you through the process of your application;

“FAILING TO PREPARE IS PREPARING TO FAIL"
"Undertaking a foundation degree in art and design where I focussed on fashion promotion and communication gave me the confidence in applying to University! When I finished my A Levels I wasn't sure what it was I wanted to do, I only knew that I was in love with all things fashion. We are constantly told that when we finish school we MUST go to university. Taking a year out and using my time wisely by undergoing a foundation degree in something I was completely in love with allowed me the opportunity to fully grasp what and where my career in fashion would be. Not only did it help me on my journey to realisation, but it also allowed me to gain valuable skills in written and visual communication (something that isn't taught in schools in regards to fashion). I was able to build a strong portfolio of work, both visual and written, to take along to my interview processes where I received unconditional offers. If you feel you are unsure on what it is you want to do, take my advice, undergo an online course or a foundation degree to help you of your journey into the fashion industry."
